Description of works:

The Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery (RAMM) is a majestic testament to the 19th Century's dedication to culture and learning. Constructed over a span of 30 years, it originally housed not only a museum but also a school of arts, a school of science, and a library.

Fast forward 140 years, and RAMM embarked on an ambitious decade-long redevelopment journey with BAM at the helm. Despite the initial designs, the need for additional space became evident, prompting RAMM to extend its facilities.

At the core of this revitalization is a striking new extension, highlighted by a pedestrian bridge that seamlessly connects to the visitor route tracing the ancient Roman city wall. Collaborating with BAM, we took great care to ensure that every specification was meticulously executed. Our skilled craftsmanship was dedicated to preserving the architectural grandeur of this historic institution.
