The newly developed building at Benenden School is more than just a performance venue—it's a dynamic hub for teaching, practice, and creativity. With its stunning elliptical design, the building boasts a 750-seat Concert Hall, over 20 bright and airy practice rooms, and a 150-seat Recital Hall. The Recital Hall seamlessly integrates with the courtyard through elegant glazing, enhancing the visual and acoustic appeal of the space.

Each room within the building was meticulously designed to meet specific acoustic and functional needs, without sacrificing versatility. The school’s commitment to innovation is reflected in features such as cutting-edge digital media suites, equipped with advanced recording capabilities, and the thoughtfully designed landscaped areas that allow for outdoor performances, expanding the creative potential of the space.

A defining feature of this project is the pursuit of exceptional acoustic performance. When we were brought in, the project was behind schedule and faced demanding quality standards. However, our team embraced the challenge, applying our expertise to install timber linings in the main hall. These high-performance linings not only enhance the aesthetics but also elevate the space into a true auditory masterpiece, offering world-class sound for performances.

Benenden School worked closely with various companies, including our expert team, to ensure no detail was overlooked. The result is a versatile and technologically advanced environment that adapts to the evolving needs of modern education and artistic expression.
