What is Dry-Lining?
Dry lining is a technique that involves fixing plasterboard directly to walls, ceilings or a secondary framework, without the need for wet plaster. This technique has become increasingly popular in the UK over the last 20 years, particularly in new housing construction. At ISS, our specialist dry lining contractors use plastering or tape and jointing to finish the meeting joints in plasterboard. We carefully select the appropriate plasterboards for each situation and our contractors are knowledgeable about the necessary fixing techniques.
