Partitioning & Refurbishment for Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton
Earlier this year, our interior fit-out team completed refurbishment works at Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton, working alongside main contractor Stepnell to deliver new ward and communal spaces within the hospital.
The project involved a range of internal partitioning, suspended ceiling and drylining works, helping to create clean, functional environments suited to the demands of a healthcare setting.
Project Overview
Our works included the installation of gypsum board partitions with tape and fill finishes, incorporating pattressing within new partitions where required. We also carried out internal partitioning and suspended ceiling installations, including moisture-resistant ceiling tiles and Biobloc acoustic ceiling systems.
Hygienic-focused drylining and ceiling solutions formed an important part of the works, supporting the practical requirements of a clinical environment where cleanliness, durability and functionality are essential.

Installation and Maintenance
Hygienic cladding is installed by preparing the wall surface, measuring and cutting sheets to size, and securing them with a suitable adhesive or fixing system. Depending on the system, sheets may be joined using specialist trims, sealants or hot-air welding to create a seamless, hygienic finish. Corners, edges and junctions are carefully sealed to help prevent moisture ingress and ensure the surface remains easy to clean and maintain.
