Redmaids High School for Girls

The newly constructed building at Redmaid's High School, designed for senior and sixth form students, offers a spacious and modern environment. To enhance the acoustics in this large, open space, Acoustic GRG provided a tailored solution to manage sound quality across various areas of the building.

In the reception area, with its high ceilings, Acoustic GRG installed custom acoustic panels to effectively manage reverberation, creating a welcoming yet acoustically balanced atmosphere. In the individual practice rooms, the focus was on sound absorption, ensuring a quieter, more focused environment for students.

The main hall, with its unique acoustic challenges, required a specialised approach. To control unwanted room reflections, RPG Planarform panels were used, providing superior sound management for performances, presentations, and gatherings.

Following the manufacturing of a diverse range of panels by Acoustic GRG, the expert ISS installation team precisely fitted each panel, ensuring optimal acoustics throughout the new facility. This collaboration resulted in a state-of-the-art acoustic environment, enhancing the experience for students and staff alike.
